1998 Chevy Express Where is the fuse located for code plug

I plug in the code reader to the code plug under the steering wheel and I get the message to check my connection. The guy at the Autozone told me there was a fuse in line with the vans code plug. I can't seem to locate it. Is there one?

the fuse should be located in fuse box left of emg.brake
