1998 Chevy Express brake grinding

I have rencently change the brakeshoes on my 1998 chevy van, but every time I apply the brakes I get this loud grinding noise coming from the rear drums. I have ajusted them over and over, but can not get rid of the grinding, please help.

Make sure that none of the springs are broken and placed properly. Also, make sure no rust has gotten into the drum while working on it. Finally, are there any marks on the drum that indicate something is cutting it?
