One chevy mechanic told me that the pvc valve was oiled soaked and needed to be replaced. He said the part number is 12575301 and would cost 21.11 + Tax. I moved and no longer had easy access to that dealership so I took the car to another dealer closer to my home. The Mechanic at this dealership said that the valve could not be replaced by itself, that I would have to replace the pvc and the hose assembly that comes in one unit with frt valve cover. this part would cost 178.00. Which of these is correct?
