2005 Chevy Equinox 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 50000+ miles

my car is making a whinnig noise that sounds like its comming from the front right it starts after 25+ miles an hour and stops when i slow down. it doesnt change when i turn its always consistant. if some one can tell me what it is that would be great so i can fix it

It could be a few things. First make sure the brakes are in good shape and the backing plate behind the rotor isn't bent or rusted and rubbing the rotor. Next, make sure the tires are worn evenly and not cupped. Finally, check the wheel bearing for play.
