1983 Chevy El Camino no spark to cylinder 2 and 8

1983 Chevy El Camino V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

have replaced plugs and plug wires on both cylinders but get no spark. HEI distributor. need to know next steps in diagnosing without having to replace individual pieces in process.

The others are getting spark but not this 2-best closely inspect the distributor cap and rotor this 2 distributes the secondary voltages to the plugs.
