1980 Chevy El Camino what could it be

Noises problem
1980 Chevy El Camino V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i was drving my el camino down the road and all of a sudden it started making loud seaking noise like a belt had broke, and it didn't want to move.

i checked the front belts fan/power steerting, etc., it was none of those. any idea what it could be?

Sounds like oil pump for trany and/or torque converter
