How hard is it to remove a heater core from our 1979 El Camino. The car has AC if that makes a difference. Are there any instructions available? Thanks for your help. JF

My books don't cover this on vintage models, but you can go to the parts store and buy a manual specifically for your car. Some older cars have an access panel on the firewall under the hood where the heater hoses go in, some don't, if yours doesn't, get a manual.
