1979 Chevy Custom Deluxe

I have a 79 Chevy Custome Deluxe 10 that my dad gave me and I want to start on as a project. It currently starts but when it gets warmed up it won't start again. I was wondering what could be causing this problem. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Start by checking the coil, ignition control module and distributor pick-up coil and also the ignition switch
