Corvette parking brake

I have a 1995 Corvette with a 6 speed tranmission. The emergency or parking brake is in working condition but the light does not go out when the brake is dis-engaged. I have done some research but can't come up with an anwser.

Start with electrical as the fuel injectors are electronic and spart as well. Look to the fuses, etc.

have you checked the brake fluid level?
