First of all there is a tool made that connects to the radiator, pumps air pressure into the radiator to allow one to spot leaks at the radiator, heater core, engine and hoses. With the use of this tool you will be able to see where your antifreeze leak is coming from otherwise without the use of this tool you could be guessing if you can't see were the leak is first hand. If you don't want to purchase the tool you may be able to rent one at your local Auto Supply. Give them a call. If the leak is very small and not coming from a hose and you want to get away as cheap as possible I have used Radiator Stop Leak with good results. Pick up a container of the silver solder type. Based on what you explained here it sounds like it could be a bad intake gasket and it may need to be replaced. Try the silver solder you really have nothing to lose. The product really works in a lot of cases.
