I bought 2001 Chevy corvette couple of years ago. Just recently I pushed the gas very hard while the car was park and engine running, it made a loud noise and after few minutes, check engine light came on. I took it to a place where they ran the scanner to get the code. It was giving air flow, converter oxygen and airflow sytmptoms. The car runs fine but I don't feel comfortable. The auto part store told me it is either the O2 Oxygen sensor or the catalytic converter. I was told that the catlaytic converters on these cars don't go bad so soon.

Please advise.

Thank you,

Sincerely,

masud
