thank you so much for helping w/ service columb lock problem. dealer fixed it after a battle no charge. i saved 400 . i just made a small donation to your site and if i wasent broke i would send more . thanks again. im trying to sell the car with a clean bill of health. Another problem maybe you can solve. the drivers side window when closed and door is shut,hits the top outside corner of the canvas top causing a small tear . I brought it to the dealer they charged me 160 and the problem is still there. I brought it to a body shop and they think it is the hinges . I agree. Back to the dealer w/ that info and now they say body shop is probably rite. I was told the newer vetts windows drop slightly when opened and closed? Oh bye the way i forgot to tell you after the attemted repair, the window now leaks. do you guys no of any recalls for this problem? The dealer now wants 270 to install the bolt on hinges. please advise. thanks again.
