1999 Corvette Wipers have a mind of there on. Two days ago my windsheild wipers started coming on and off with the switch in the off position. I had to remove the fuse to turn them off. It happened after a rain storm but the car was parked. Is this a short in the switch inside the car or something on the outside of the car?

Best guess. You had a new radio installed on the car? Or something changed on the wire loom? If that is true. Then the power for the radio or new stuff. Corrupted the system. Alarm system?
