1999 Chevy Corvette V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1999 corvette with my foot off the gas the car goes approx 9 miles per hour... the rpms with the car in drive and my foot on the brake is 600 rpms. I have no codes in the computer, what would cause it to go 9 miles per hour with my foot off the gas pedal?. also what should be the correct rpms with the car in drive and in park also??? If anyone can answer this question please e,ail me at antonio14@cox.net

Could be a sticking acc. cable, binding throttle plate, idle air control valve and the throttle position sensor-
