1998 Chevy Corvette Fuel tank level sensor

My fuel gauge goes from 1/2 to empty in no time so I stoped to buy fuel and only took 14 gallons so the sensor appears not to be working. My question is what do I need to do to replace the fuel pump and it's sensor.?

fuel pump is prolly not the problem. especially with a 98. they should last a long time. most likely the fuel sensor. the gauge itself is probably fine. let us know.
