1998 Chevy Corvette Connecting OEM CD Changer

I purchased an OEM CD changer & wiring harness for my car, which currently only has the factory cassette radio. I pulled up the carpeting & access panel in the toe board as instructed, but was suprised to only find one of two connectors for my wiring harness. I seem to have the 4-wire connection for the audio feed, but I'm missing the three wire connector for power. I've looked high and low and can't find it. Does anyone know why it might be missing (factory gitch?) Or whether I need another wire harness to run power to my connector? Where does the 3-wire connector originate? Any insight is appreciated.

The factory wiring harnesses connections will depend on the entertainment system options that were ordered when the vehicle was purchased.

If your car was ordered with a "Base" option, then I don't think the CD Changer connector would've been included on your wiring harness.

If you have a Bose system (Premium), but deleted the CD Changer option, then you should have that connector.

Your power distribution originates at the Body Control Module. And the entertainment system wiring harness branches off from the instrument panel control center.
