I have a 1991 5.7 liter corvette c-4 and I had a problem with my cruise control surging, my engine ran fine, both at idle, and just cruising, I found a hole in one of the vacuum hoses, and replaced it, being careful not to disrupt any wires or plug in's. My engine runs fine, both at Idle and cruising, I found a hole in one of the vacuum hoses, and replaced it, it was the one that went under the dash.
I took it out for a test, and have no c.c. at all. I was very careful not to disturb any wires or plug in's, I also ohmed out the fuse, and it was ok. I had disconnected the battery before I started, Do I need to re-set or re-progam anything. Thank you.

Nothing should need replaced. If it worked before you repaired the vacuum hose, plug the hose to see if it changes the CC problem.

Do you mean un-plug, and plug in again, or just un-plug, and plug up the vacumm hose???

Where the leak was, plug off the hoses so they don't have any vacuum like they were before.
