1996 Chevy Corvette No reverse

Reverse all of sudden went out on my zf 6 speed manual transmission on my 96 corvette. I'm not sure what is broken or what 2 look for? What would cause this 2 happen? If I need 2 rebuild the transmission is that complicated or simple? & Would you be able 2 tell me what kinda book or diagram I would need for this process? I would appreciate any help you could give me on this situation. Thank you so much.

Do you still have forward gears? It most likely will need to be rebuilt. For someone who has never done this before it can be pretty complicated. If your looking to save a few dollars you could always remove the trans and take it to a shop to have it repaired and reinstall it yourself.
