After warm up when driving it starts breaking down. Thought it was ignition, changed plugs, wires, and cap. It idles at less than 1000 RPMs should I adjust the throttle body?

Best guess. Your cats your gone. They are part of your exhaust system. They make your car pass smog. When they get old and break down. Parts of the system break down and restrict exhaust from exiting the tail pipe. Those broken parts act like a drain plug. Every time you hit the gas. The exhaust gets clogged. Which means the motor can not fuction properly. Like you breathing. If you can not exhale. You have a hard time walking to the store. Same as your motor. Good luck
