The fans do not come on by themselves. I jumped them and they do run.

Where are they turned on from?

Where are the sensors located that sense engine heat, to turn on the fans?

Isn't one fan supposed to run whenever the AC is on?

You are right about one running at all times the a.C. Is on.
There is a relay on the firewall as I recall (I will look to see if I have the old repair manual still).
If it's not there it should beon a cross member near the front of the engine on the left or right side wheel wells. They are notorious for going bad. It may help if you go down to Kragin and get them to pull one out for you.

Good Luck,
Skid
