1994 Chevy Corvette car dies

my car keeps going dead while sitting or driving. there are no signs and runs great. we have replace the distributor, idle control switch was cleaned, fixed a vacum leak. it seems to do this after we wash it or after a rain. please help

check the coil, especially the tower for corrosion. i have replaced countless coils on this engine. have you replaced ignition wires?
