hi, i just recently bought a new headlight motor to install in my car passenger side. After installing the motor i hooked it up, and pulled the switch for the lights, the driver side lights came up normally but the passenger side stayed down, after i pushed the switch in to lower the lights the driver side lowers, but the passenger raises with the headlight off. If i push it again the passenger side will lower again with the light on, its like its backwards? i just wanted to know what could be causing this problem?

The headlights themselves sound ok, But the positioning of going up and down is wrong. check the wiring one of the wires may not be making a good connection, also make sure it has a good ground.

Is it possible that you have the motor wires hooked backwards?
Reverse the wires and recheck
