Hello, I have a 1987 Corvette that smokes upon starting it up. The smoke is a bluish color and am almost certain it's the valve stem seals. What are the steps to replace these seals? Thanks for your time.

You need to take the heads off, use a valve compressor to get to the seals and make sure you use the umbrella type seals-

I appreciate your fast reply. Isn't there a way to do it with the heads on, with air pressure through the spark plug holes? Or does that not work on this type of engine? Thanks.
