Engine Cooling problem
1985 Chevy Corvette V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic new miles
I just had the motor replaced and brought the car home. The mechanic said that the instrument panel was doing some weird things. While driving, I noticed that the temp readout read "LO". I drove a couple of miles and then punched down on the accelorator. The temp then began to climb at an extremely fast rate. Before I could pull to the side (only @ 5-10 seconds) the temp was at @ 277. After taking my foot from the accelorator the temp dropped as fast as it had risen until it read "LO" again. The total time to go from lo to 277 and then back to lo was only about 15 seconds or so. The temp. sending unit was new. Any suggestions? Thank you
