I would like to remove the ECM as I am not subject to emissions. If I were to remove it, will this affect performance? Note the following:

-installed a new distributor to bypass the ECM,
-installed high performance manifold intake and carb
-removed EGR

If you've bypassed the ECM already, then it won't cause you any problems to physically remove it from your vehicle.
