I have a problem with my Corvette missing at about 55 mph, just wondering could it be a bad EGR Valve or plugs and plug wires, it only has around 9,000 mile on the plugs and wires

Thanks

EGR not likely but plugs, wires and coil all good possibilities. No miss under acceleration?

Do you have points dist? If so check dwell 30 deg. Also make sure centrifugal advance weights are free and apply vacuum in advance see if it moves and holds

Check the coil, plug wires, and rotor. The rotors on gm hei ignitions system are know to fail. It arcs thru the rotor into the distributor shaft. But I bet its the plug wires.
