Check your carb and throttle linkage, your throttle might be tightened to high, simple fix, back off the throttle linkage or increase it if it is not getting enough fuel. Should only take about 5-10 minutes to correct. Very simple to do. I showed my 5 year old cousin how to do it and me and him will tweak lawn mowers and any engine with carbs just by doing that. If you are running a four brrl carb you can tweeak them to give you more performance and better ful milage, thats what I did to my 75 before it got in an accident. But like I said my 5 year old cousin can do it.
