This is about the same car. I might get the same answer, but I would like to be sure before I get a rebuild. The car will start easily and runs great for about 5 minutes. When it heats up to normal operating temperature, pressing on the accelerator hard will result in the engine cutting out. Then it will not start again. Thanks in advance for your help.

Spray some starting fluid down the carb and crank it, if she runs for a few seconds then fuel/carb. If not then ignition.
