1973 Chevy Corvette battery getting drained

New die hard battery when charged starts and runs great. When I shut of engine sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesnt. But it will always starts when I jump it. When it sits for a few days it needs to be charged always.

My '79 also will drain the battery in a couple of days. I installed a battery shut off switch which has worked for 2 years now in keeping the battery up for starting. If it will not start right after shutting down, you should check your alternators output.
