The plastic line from my Oil Pressure Valve broke under the hhod and the car quit running because unknowingly the oil pumped out.
I hear the starter trtying to turn the engine over but the engine is locked.
What can I do to get it checked to see if it has thrown a rod?
If it has, am I better off getting it rebuilt or trying to find a replacement?

Believing God for the best.
Thanks.

The only way to tell if you thrown a rod is to remove the oil pan to see. As far as a rebuild, if possible, keep the original engine. The value of the car will be increased with the original engine.
