When I hit the brakes, the car pulls hard left. I've bled the right side with hopes of an air bubble, with no luck. What do you think? Thanks, Mike D[img:65e9f7e038]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/215835_got_vette_004_1.jpg[/img:65e9f7e038]

Mike I think it's time for parts replacement...with an older car, and 43 year old ride, front end parts should also be looked at. Disc or drums? If you have the disc brakes and they are the 4 piston Bud calipers, even when freshly rebuilt, they can be tricky to get all the air out! Tap on them with a small hammer as you bleed this helps remove small bubles that stick to the castings...

also another thing is to replace front brake hoses. a collapsed rf hose will make it pull to the left then straighten out. for example when your driving and step on brakes, it will pull hard left then straighten out if the hose is collapsed. like merlin said, its time to replace some parts. brake hoses for this car are very inexpensive. also control arm bushings will cause this too. when braking your alignment will drastically change if the control arm bushings are bad. let us know

usually when a car pulls when braking that's a sign of a flex line going bad. you should replace both if you change them. sometimes a caliper slider will hang up but, I would change the lines first.
