I converted my '65 corvette 327 from points to HEI ignition. The original spark plugs were AC45 and gapped at .035. What is the proper heat range I should use and what should the gap be due to the higher amount of energy from the HEI distributor?

depending on the TYPE of iginition system you put in your heat range and gap should be ok. If you get premature plug wear then gap them at .040
