Transmission problem
1996 Chevy Corsica 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I am having many times trouble shifting into Park. Transmission seems to work fine, no slipping, etc. Alot of times when I stop and want to shift it into Part, he really hesitates, after a short struggle it finally gets into Park. I am stepping on the brake and the shift seems to get stuck, after left/right, in/out movements in finally makes it. Can you give me an idea what it could be. I do not think it is really serious yet. I figured it has something to do with a switch or adjustments when stepping on the brake. If it is a solenoid/switch or adjustment can you tell me the location of these two procedures.

You just need to adjust the shifter cable linkage from the top of the transmission.
