1996 Chevy Corsica timing mark/seting the timeing

1996 Chevy Corsica 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

96 chevy corsica chain tensioner broke i replaced the top big gear didnt have a timing mark, but the bottom one was clearly marked. on the top big gear ther are 3 longated circles around the inner gear also there is one circle thats not longated is that the timing mark. ive went to advanced auto and they said go head and try i did but still haveing problems. any information would be much appreciated or a picture of the timing setup. thanks chase
