Electrical problem
1996 Chevy Corsica 4 cyl

So over a year ago I had an accident in which my driver side headlight was destroyed. During the day the light works fine, however once the night light is turned on by the sensors the headlight completely turns off. Is there a way to turn the sensor off so my daylight will work during the night? I am unable to purchase a brand new headlight due to cash restrictions at this time.

this is aground problem. The sensor only removes the daylight ground and switches to the switch ground in the night. I would start by checking for any lose or missing wires or connectors
