1996 Chevy Corsica hard starting, died while in motion

1996 Chevy Corsica 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Slow starting, sometimes not able to shift after starting (Auto Trans), have to turn off and restart in netural. It died while in motion, also lights go dim then bright

clean the battery cables first. You'll need to reset the radio and clock if you do this. then get some choke cleaner and clean the throttle plate on both sides as well as the oblong hole where the iac goes. they get gummed up with oil. Change your fuel filter then check your fuel pressure. you shold have at least 40 p.s.i.
