i have recently repainted the car and when i painted it i took the tail lights out. After i was done we put them back in and sometimes the brake lights dont go off. This only happens occasionally though. What could the problem be?

retrace your steps from when you first took the lights out and see if something is pinched or crossed . if not the problem the have your brake light switch behind the brake pedal looked at . it could be shorted or something.
