I like my chevy corsica. I did not give me any trouble at all. However, when I recently try to charge the AC, the store clerk noticed that the compressor is not working. I know that the fan is working fine. I wonder is there any low cost fixing. The Automotive Repair Manual did not tell me how to fix it

you'll have to have the checked to see if there is aproblem. if the unit is low on freon it won't work the compressor. There is no way that you can get the freon in at home. Professionals have a way to do this. If it's not working then the freon leaked out so something is causing this and needs to be fixed, not just filling it as you need it.
