I have been told that my engine skipping, the backfiring and difficulty in starting may be caused by a bad ignition coil. I'm also told that if I can get it off my car, someone can check it for me for free. Here's my problem. I can't FIND it. Can you tell me where my ignition coil (or solenoid perhaps?) is on my 1995 Chevy Corsica?

The plug wires on the 4 cylinder go to the ignition coil. There are 2 of these. They are located behind the engine next to the firewall. Just follow the wires. They are held on by a couple of bolts. Just make sure your wires are good first though.
