Recently my car just wouldn't start. It turns over, the fuel pump engages, but it won't get whatever else it needs to start. I checked the ignition coil, the battery, the fuel lines, replaced the spark plugs, and check the plug wires. I was wondering if it was the distributor cap, or the module underneath. Any ideas?

If you have the 2.2 litre engine, there is no distributor. Did you check for spark at the plugs? You can take a plug wire loose, stick a known good plug in the boot, lay metal part of plug against engine ground. Have helper crank the engine, while you check for spark at the tip of the plug.

Can you check for troublecodes?
