1994 Chevy Corsica voltage charge drops when turn on AC

1994 Chevy Corsica 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

first thank u geys for the great site.

When i turn on my AC the charge gauge drops to very lower ground and when i shut down the car and restart the battery is dead.

what is the problem?

first charge your battery and make sure it is in good shape. Most auto parts stores can check this. then take your alternator in and see if it's nay good. It sounds as if it's not.
