There are three colors of smoke, white, blue, and black, what color is the smoke and is there a check engine light on?

Check your fluids too, specifically oil and coolant (while the engine is cold). If one of these is low, it will give you clues on what to look at next.

Atkaparking is absolutely correct, that way should indicate which fluid is being consumed if any, Top off your fluids, and pay close attention, checking them a couple of times a day, even brake fluid or transmission fluid can end up in your combustion chamber causing smoke and or a foul smell

Rich basically means too much gas, and black smoke does mean fuel. So I will send you a link that will show you how to check fuel pressure and what to do about it
