Heater problem
1993 Chevy Corsica 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My heater core went out on me, so i replaced it but it still acts as though it's broken, it steams and leaks. is it a possibility that i need more coolant, or did the parts store just sell me a bad part?

It is quite possible that one of the hoses going into and out of the heater core leaks. It is also possible that while trying to install the core, one of the metal hoses (on the core) tweaks too much and leaks.

You have to remove the core again, and check for leaks. I suspect the rubber hoses..
