Transmission problem
1993 Chevy Corsica 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

will drive about 30 mins. when you go to stop it won't downshift

Hello –

Sorry you are having problems.

You need to check your throttle valve cable, throttle cable assembly, control valve assembly and spacer plate. This could be binding.

Many transmission places will check your transmission for free. I would check around for a reputable one and check it out that way also if you don’t see anything wrong with the above cables.
