Interior problem
1992 Chevy Corsica 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 103.00 miles

At night when I put on my headlights and interior dash lights there is no light for console where I shift into park, reverse drive etc. I have checked the fuses and all are good what could be the problem. It makes driving hard at times as I have to remember the order that the P,R, N , D, D2 are in and when I am driving in a dark area with no lights on the roadway . I would rather be considerating on the road not having to guess where my gears are as they do not light up.

there is a small light bulb in the shifting console, get a flat head and pop the plate off of the console and you should immediately see it. it could just be loose or in need of replacement. this is the shifter that is on the floor im assuming. also if you need to get the grip off of the shifter for any reason , there will be either a screw to remove or a little clip that has to be removed. and your all set
