Transmission problem
1992 Chevy Corsica 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 200K miles

I have a 1992 Chevy Corsica with a 3.1L MFI engine. When slowing from highway speed to a stop the tranny won't downshift and stalls the engine. It starts right back up but stalls again when I shift to drive. After a couple minutes, I'm able to shift to drive and go but not for long before it stalls again. If I shift staight to 1st. its OK. I'm thinking Throttle Postion Sensor. Any other ideas?
