The heater blows cold air. Do I need to replace the heater core or the thermostate? If the core -where is it located?

your thermostat should take care of the problem. the only time that you may have a heater core problem is if you are getting liquid on your floor board and you know you didn't spill anything. And if you are losing coolant. a bad core could be the problem
