1990 Chevy Corsica headrest removal

I was told to make 2 tools to insert by the shafts of the headrest to remove them. tools are 3/16" wide by 2" long. I can find only one spot they will go into but the headrest does not come out. I need to remove them to put on seat covers for my eldery neighbor. Thanks Kris S.

Might want to have an upholstery shop look at it. My software shows nothing about removing head rests.Is there releases to adjust the height? try holding them in while lifting it out. Some of them just need a hard pull to get them to pop out
