how to take off the axel assembly shaft ?

raise and support front end.
remove wheel

remove brake caliper (you dont have to disconnect the hose, use some string to tie it up out of the way.)

disconnect lower ball joint form steering knuckle.

disconnect outer tie rod from steering knuckle.

remove big nut on cv shaft (30, 32 or 36 mm)

push shaft in towards the transmission while pulling the steering knuckle out away like the pendulum of a clock.

pop the inner joint out of the transmission
reverse to put it all back together.
