ok,i got an 88 corsica with an dis-4 6215 msd ignition and a 6562 msd retard box.the guy i bought the car from put champion plugs in and 2.5mm wires, and the car runs like crap, the msd ignition calls for 8.5mm wires, but i know with the msd ignition it runs hotter, and my normel gap is 45,with the msd sould i gap the plugs a different size and does the wires matter[img:301d6c4c77]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/416422_jays_car_004_1.jpg[/img:301d6c4c77]

I would for sure change the wires as it will burn them up in a weeks time. The gap would stay the same as this will cause a better fireball.
